I created this blog as a way to remember (and rate) the recipes I’ve cooked and smoothies I’ve made, and everything on this site will be dairy-free (and sometimes even vegan and/or vegetarian).
I started a dairy-low diet (not quite dairy-free since I cheat when eating out, but I only cook dairy-free) in January 2015 and have learned to embrace this lifestyle since. I am obsessed with smoothies and have one every morning; I try to mix it up some, but my favorite is probably a PB&J inspired one.
When I’m not in the kitchen, I pursue my PhD studies in chemistry, explore New York City, run, do yoga, and try out new restaurants (probably too much for my wallet’s sake , but you’re only young once, right?).
